About LoreCast

A history of
another world,
taken seriously.

The premise

LoreCast approaches The Elder Scrolls as historians might reconstruct a real world.

The archive begins with evidence: chronicles, testimony, sacred traditions, material remains and the silences between them.

The goal is neither to flatten every contradiction nor to treat every interpretation as equally secure. LoreCast orders what can be ordered, distinguishes testimony from event, and leaves genuine uncertainty visible.

The method

Four editorial principles

01

Follow chronology

Place events in sequence wherever the record permits.

02

Weigh the sources

Distinguish eyewitness, tradition, propaganda and later interpretation.

03

Preserve uncertainty

Name disagreements clearly without turning ambiguity into spectacle.

04

Build one history

Let every chapter strengthen a coherent, navigable whole.

Why Books and Chapters?

A world this large deserves more than a summary.

Books give each subject enough room to develop in sequence. Chapters remain watchable on their own, but together they form one continuous historical collection.

This simple structure keeps the project readable as it grows: Books contain episodes, and the timeline keeps the larger chronology in view.
